Pokemon Evolution Padlet Activity
Some Pokemon “evolve” from one form to another. Their evolution normally always involves them getting better at battling other Pokemon. In this sense, Pokemon evolution is similar to the evolution of organisms on our planet
Use the instructions on this page to help you complete your Pokemon Evolution assignment.
For this assignment, you will investigate how certain physical parts of Pokemon change as they evolve to their final evolutionary stage. You will create a Padlet similar to the one below to present your information.
You will be assigned a specific Pokemon and it is your job to identify 4 physical parts (characteristics) that change from one stage to the next.

2. DESCRIPTION - ADD A DESCRIPTION TO YOUR PADLET
3. BACKGROUND - CHANGE THE BACKGROUND TO MATCH YOUR POKEMON OR MATCH THE COLOR
4. PICTURES OF YOUR POKEMON'S EVOLUTIONARY STAGES
5. CITATIONS FOR YOUR PICTURES -use citationmachine.net or easybib
6. INFORMATION FOR 4 PHYSICAL PARTS OR CHARACTERISTICS - In each box on your padlet you must identify the physical part, describe the function of the part, how the part has changed over time, and explain how it is beneficial to the Pokemon. (see example above)

How to use Padlet
1. Think about which images and words would best communicate your message. It is a visual product, which means that the pictures are as important as the text.
2. Choose your words wisely – since this is a visual product, the few words used need to have the most impact.
3. If you are showing a process (step-by-step), number the tiles.
4. Arrange the tiles so that they are visually appealing.
5. Minimize the blank spaces between tiles by resizing and repositioning the tiles.
6. You can also change the wallpaper in settings.
7. Resize/rearrange your tiles so that the entire poster can be viewed on one screen. This means the viewer does not have to scroll down/across to see the entire poster.
